Some of my favorite questions to ask couples are these:
"How did you meet?"
"What was your first date?"
"What do you love about him/her?"
Looking at the thousands of love locks on the Pont des Arts in Paris this evening, I wondered those things about the people whose names adorned the locks. Love stories pass under the bridge and somehow swirl in the air.
The city fathers of Paris may not be in a mood to ask those questions since they are no longer amused about those romantic locks loading down their bridges. Lucky you to be there!

I have read about the ire regarding this issue and agree that it he become a problem. We have seen other spots in big cities where a few locks have been placed.
